Free Fursuit Drawing Templates
Hello, and welcome. I’m the founder of Dokidoki, a studio focused on fursuit making and furry character design. This project is run by me and a few artist friends who share the same passion for costume design, character creation, and bringing ideas to life through craft.
Today, we are releasing three free fursuit drawing templates for anyone interested in designing their own character. Whether you are new to furry art or looking for a base to work from, these templates are free to download and intended to help you visualize your ideas more easily.
Each base represents a different common fursuit style: Toony, Kemono, and Kig. You will find download links below each template.
Template A – Toony Style
A Western cartoon-inspired base with exaggerated shapes and bold expressions. This style is commonly used in energetic, playful fursuit designs and works well for characters with a big personality.

Template B – Kemono Style
A Japanese-style base designed with soft proportions and a cute aesthetic. This style is popular in the kemono fursuit community and is ideal for gentle, charming character concepts.

Template C – Kig Style
A more humanoid base that fits the look of kigurumi-style suits. This template is suited for characters with subtle animal features and a more balanced body ratio, often used for performance or cosplay.
Why We Made These Templates
At Dokidoki, we work with many clients who want to commission custom suits or art but are unsure how to sketch out their ideas. These free bases are designed to make that process more approachable. You can use them for coloring, planning, or even submitting reference sheets for commissions.
We want to support both artists and non-artists in the furry community. If you are unsure where to start, feel free to use these templates as a starting point when working with us or other artists.
